Bryan Comments on WWE Future at Elimination Chamber
Sunday, May 31
After almost three weeks without an appearance, Bryan emerged at Sunday night's Elimination Chamber pay-per-view and spoke to the crowd about his future. Bryan said his career "is not over" and plans to return, per Wrestling News Source.
Previously, Bryan entered the ring at Monday Night Raw in Cincinnati on May 11 to update fans on his status, per WWE: "I had an MRI last week. They don't know how long I'll be out ... I might never be able to wrestle again."
On top of that, he would officially relinquish the Intercontinental Championship.
According to Richard Gray of WrestlingNewsWorld.com, WWE issued a statement on April 15 to declare Bryan would miss the remainder of the UK tour.
Bryan missed roughly eight months after undergoing neck surgery last year, but he announced his return on the Dec. 29, 2014, edition of Monday Night Raw.
