4-Star WR Makes Up for State Title Game Gaffe by Asking 'Bae' to Prom
Months later, Archer (Lawrenceville, Georgia) High School junior Kyle Davis is finally getting a second chance—with a football.
Davis had a heartbreaking moment with one during the Georgia Class AAAAAA championship game back in December. In the second quarter, Davis dropped a wide-open catch in the end zone that would have given his Tigers a two-score lead over the Colquitt County (Moultrie, Georgia) Packers.
Instead, the pass fell incomplete, and the Tigers missed a 40-yard field goal on the next play. Colquitt County wound up scoring a touchdown on the ensuing drive to take a 21-17 lead into the break.
The Packers won the game, 28-24.
Now, Davis has finally caught "bae."

In case you were wondering how the "promposal" turned out:

Davis, whom 247 Sports lists as a 4-star recruit, has committed to South Carolina.
