Twitter Reacts To Liverpool's Premier League Win Over Newcastle

Liverpool won a crucial Premier League match against Newcastle on Monday night at Anfield to keep a dominant home run against the Magpies alive and well.

But in the aftermath of the strong performance, much of the attention was on Liverpool's push for the top four. The result left them four points behind reeling Manchester City for fourth place.

While Raheem Sterling and Joe Allen were the goalscorers for Liverpool, Brazilian playmaker Philippe Coutinho was the little-disputed star man of the game.

However, Newcastle had a pretty legitimate penalty shot that most seemed to agree was warranted.

One of the nicer moments of the match was when Newcastle's Jonas Gutierrez was given a standing ovation from the Kop as he entered. The Argentine recently returned to football after beating testicular cancer.
