Andy Murray, Kim Sears Wedding: Attendees, Photos, Location and Details
Andy Murray and his longtime girlfriend, Kim Sears, wed in the the Dunblane Cathedral in Dunblane, Scotland, on Saturday, per the BBC.
According to CNN's Monica Sarkar, Murray and Sears first met at the 2005 U.S. Open. Last November, the two became engaged. Sarkar wrote that their nuptials were labeled the "the royal wedding of Scotland" by the local revelers.
In addition to the bride's and groom's family and friends, former English tennis star Tim Henman also attended the wedding.
A number of fans showed up to get a glimpse of the 2013 Wimbledon champion and his bride. The Reuters photo below (via The Guardian) gives you an idea of the crowd in attendance:

Fellow tennis stars Rafael Nadal and Caroline Wozniacki were among those to offer well-wishes to the happy couple:
On the day of the wedding, Murray offered a brief glimpse—in emoji form—into what the day had in store:
Murray's mother, Judy, tweeted out that the weather wasn't exactly cooperative:
The BBC reported that Murray replied "alright, thanks" after being asked how the ceremony went, so the wet weather couldn't have put a damper on the celebration. Following the wedding, everybody moved to the Cromlix House for the reception.
Murray won't have long to enjoy his honeymoon. The 2015 French Open begins in a little over a month, and it will be important for the 27-year-old that he gets plenty of work on the clay before he heads into Roland Garros. The French Open is the one major tournament in which Murray has failed to reach the final.
If he can handle rain and hail on his wedding day, though, capturing a first title in Paris should be a breeze for Murray.
