Chennai Super Kings vs. Sunrisers Hyderabad
Chennai started this year’s competition with a thrilling one-run victory over Delhi Daredevils and will be aiming to make it two from two against the unfancied Sunrisers Hyderabad.
Nick Knight, per Sky Sports, felt the key to Chennai’s win against Delhi was their ability to come out on top in close games. He said: “The difference when it got tight was that Chennai know how to win games and that Delhi don’t.”
Dwayne Smith, Faf du Plessis and MS Dhoni all chipped in with solid scores against Delhi, although Chennai will expect more from Brendon McCullum after he only managed four in that match.
Ashish Nehra was man of the match after taking 3-25 and he will be key to trying to stop the potentially big-hitting Sunrisers.

Captained by David Warner, the Sunrisers have plenty of batting strength in depth, according to coach Tom Moody, per Shirin Sadikot of the IPL’s official website.
Though Moody is not yet in a position to call upon Kevin Pietersen, he also has Eoin Morgan, Ravi Bopara, Kane Williamson and Moises Henriques at his disposal, in addition to Warner.
With Dale Steyn and Ishant Sharma in the bowling attack, the Sunrisers do have the potential to cause something of a surprise against the two-time IPL winners.
Prediction: Sunrisers to win
Kolkata Knight Riders vs. Royal Challengers Bangalore

Last year’s champions Kolkata started off this season with an impressive opening success by beating Mumbai Indians by seven wickets with more than an over to spare after being set 169 to win.
Gautan Gambhir struck 57 and there were also valuable contributions from Manish Pandey and Suryakumar Yadav, while Morne Morkel took two early wickets to stem Mumbai's chances of getting off to a fast start.
Their next game, though, is likely to be a much stiffer test, and Kolkata could have difficulty either chasing a big target or trying to defend a small total given the firepower in their opponents’ armoury.
With AB de Villiers and Chris Gayle in their squad, the Royal Challengers have the power to post huge scores if both men are in the mood. Throw in captain Virat Kohli and Bangalore look like a team to be feared this year.
With the talent on show you can envisage most of the games involving Bangalore being entertaining affairs.
Much will depend on how well Kolkata can contain the likes of De Villiers and Gayle when it comes to deciding the outcome of this game.
Prediction: Bangalore to win
