Big Show and Khali: The Last of the Giants.
In the WWE we are used to seeing guys who look like magazine models and body builders dominate the scene. We are also used to seeing small guys like Mysterio and Bourne fly thought the air. One thing we see less of these days is the giants like Big Show and the Great Khali.
Clearly Khali is nearing the end of his career as he is almost immobile in the ring. Big Show still has some fight in him, but the question i want to ask is this: with no more giants, how can they keep Big Show interesting?
Seeing Show not be in the world title picture has been a poor decision on the part of WWE's creative team. He is the biggest guy in the ring and were expected to believe that he wouldn't try and kill Punk or Orton?
The day of the giants is gone and i for one am sad. I loved seeing guys like Big John Studd and Andre fight, and others like the Giant Gonzalez and Earthquake had some entertaining times as well. But now it seems as if the big man persona is no longer a desirable one for the mainstream.
Show can only go on teaming with one of the shorter guys on the roster for so long before it gets stale. What I want to see is Big Show going after a major belt and keeping it while going through guys like HHH and Cena at PPVs. Its something we haven't seen in a while and it is needed.
Remember when the good guys were underdogs. I don't think John Cena was the underdog when facing The Miz and i know HHH hasn't been the underdog since the last time he faced, well, anybody.
Lets give the giant a step in the right direction before his kind is extinct.
Let me know your thoughts.
