The Rise and Fall Of WCW Out Now

It is about time the the wwe has done something right by releasing the "Rise and Fall of WCW.

World Championship Wrestling was the greatest Wrestling Company around. Remember WCW Nitro beat WWE Raw 84 straight weeks in ratings. If Ted Turner still had total control of Time Warner WCW would still be around and I would be watching Nitro instead of Raw.

Sure WCW had its highs and its lows but it was AOLTimeWarner that kicked Ted Turner out of his empire and caused WCW to be sold to the WWF. That was a really dumb move but what can anybody do about that?

WCW was gone for eight years and it took that long to release a dvd, however ecw wasnt gone real long before a dvd was released about that promotion. Fans still like WCW and its memories, I still talk about the greatness of WCW.

The mistakes that WCW made was that they got rid of WW3 and replaced it with Mayhem, they also got rid of the double cage for WarGames and reoplaced it with the Triple Cage which was stupid.  

The last three Pay Per Views were stupid except for SuperBrawl Revenge in 2001, Janurary 2001 was WCW Sin, Feburary 2001 was SuperBrawl Revenge, and in March 2001 was WCW Greed.

If WCW was still around the April Pay Per View would have been WCW The Big Bang. 

In closing im just saying that WCW should have kept there pay per views the same and not change any of the match types and they would probalby have a better fan base, also the inner politics of the company was the ultimate down fall.

But no matter how and who ran the company during its 13 year existance WCW will always be the Greatest Wrestling Promotion in the World.
