Barcelona hosted Almeria at the Camp Nou on Wednesday night looking to continue the good form that has seen them climb to the top of La Liga. 

In the early stages, Barcelona were struggling to find a breakthrough, but then that man Lionel Messi struck his 33rd Liga goal of the season in the 33rd minute. It was a superb curling effort from a tough angle.

 Barcelona were 2-0 up in the 55th minute with a goal by Luis Suarez that was similar to Messi's strike.

 The third goal came from a less typical source, as defender Marc Bartra got on the scoresheet with a header from a corner.

 Suarez wrapped up a 4-0 victory with his second of the night in stoppage time as he tapped home after a brilliant assist from Pedro.
