The Football Subdivision Championship will kick off its 2009 season with a game pitting Indiana State for the Missouri Valley Conference against NAIA member Quincy on August 27.

The Sycamores were the worst team in FSC last year going 0-12 (0-8 in conference).

So how do you remedy that situation from last year schedule a team three divisions down from you. Look, I know all teams have cupcakes on their schedule, even my beloved Gators. But when you start scheduling teams that are that from below you something needs to change.

Coach Trent Miles enters his second year for the Sycamores.

What can a coach do when your team record looks like this:

2008 0-12 26 Straight loses
2007 0-11
2006 1-10 A win vs Missouri State @ Homecoming
2005 0-11

This could be another long season for the Sycamores.

The Sycamores have 10 returning starters on Offense and nine returning starters on Defense.

Well i guess we will see how everything goes this year for the Sycamores.

Quincy went 6-5 last year in the NAIA, the return a great rusher in Corey Williams.
