It's MVP week at Bleacher Report, and to kick it off we're celebrating MVP candidate Russell Westbrook for his eye-catching explosiveness on the court.

But what Westbrook has accomplished on the floor this season extends far beyond flashy performance. His showmanship and artistry restored hope in a deflated team missing Kevin Durant, its franchise player.

While Westbrook's 11 triple-doubles this season weren't always propelling the Thunder to victory, they worked to transform Oklahoma City into a league-wide threat.
