
Wade Barrett vs. Daniel Bryan Announced for WWE Extreme Rules 2015 PPV
Although Bad News Barrett is desperate to win back his Intercontinental Championship, he's willing to wait until Extreme Rules to do so.
Barrett announced during Monday night's edition of WWE Raw that he'll use his rematch clause to challenge Daniel Bryan at the April 26 pay-per-view, per the WWE:

It was only a matter of time before Barrett got a shot to reclaim the IC title, and saving it for Extreme Rules allows him and Bryan to build some interest in their match.
Since the WWE appears to be making a concerted effort to elevate the company's secondary titles, it would seem to be too early for Barrett to win back his belt. Plus, The History of WWE argues that keeping the IC title on Bryan helps quiet down some of Roman Reigns' more vocal critics:
Both Bryan and Barrett can go in the ring, so as long as their match at Extreme Rules is given enough time, the two should put on a great show.
Even in a losing effort, Barrett could wind up looking better than he did going in, which is something he could use as he looks to build momentum in his post-Intercontinental Championship run.
