Michael Beasley Injury: Updates on Heat Forward's Knee and Return

Miami Heat forward Michael Beasley hyperextended his left knee in Sunday's 112-89 road loss against the Indiana Pacers. He was made available against the Bulls on April 9.

Beasley Available vs. Bulls

Bleacher Report's Ethan J. Skolnick reported head coach Erik Spoelstra said Beasley will be available against the Bulls on Thursday.

On April 5, the Heat's official Twitter account provided the details on Beasley's status:

Beasley fared well in his limited action against Indiana, putting up eight points and four rebounds in 16 minutes.

Although he has never lived up to his billing as the 2008 draft's second overall pick, he still has immense offensive skills the Heat could use down the stretch. Miami's struggles continue on that end of the court, even with a strong contribution from Beasley off the bench.
