NCAA Championship Game Time: Duke vs. Wisconsin TV, Live Stream Schedule

Matt FitzgeraldApr 6, 2015

For all the deserved acclaim Kentucky garnered for its remarkable undefeated run this season, the 2015 NCAA basketball championship won't feature the Wildcats in Indianapolis on Monday.

Two other top seeds in Wisconsin and Duke will meet to decide this year's March Madness winner at Lucas Oil Stadium.

The game will be broadcast by CBS and is slated to start at 9:18 p.m. ET. Live stream coverage is available through NCAA.com's services. Such alternatives provide sports fans a multitude of ways to catch the action despite it falling on the start of the work week for most.

Duke vs. Wisconsin Preview, Prediction

Much of the attention will center on the centers. Wisconsin's Frank Kaminsky is the Badgers' catalyst, while Jahlil Okafor gives Duke size and an imposing post presence it hasn't had in most years past.

Forward Sam Dekker has been extremely clutch for Wisconsin. ESPN Stats & Info illustrates how much he's heated up from beyond the arc, giving the Badgers offense a new dimension:

But Dekker will likely be marked by Blue Devils freshman phenom Justise Winslow, who is a dynamic, lengthy defender capable of shutting Dekker down. Winslow has had a superb NCAA tournament in his own right, emerging as a legitimate star.

Dick Vitale of ESPN noticed Winslow's exceptional form, which is somewhat easy to lose considering how high of a profile some of his teammates carry:

One edge the Blue Devils figure to have is on the perimeter, provided Winslow can mitigate the massive impact Dekker has had as of late.

Duke coach Mike Krzyzewski told reporters how senior leader Quinn Cook has helped bring along first-year point guard Tyus Jones, via DukeBluePlanet.com:

Synergy Sports Tech highlighted the minimal production Jones had in structured sets before he went 3-of-8 from the field in the national semifinal win over Michigan State:

Jones is the only Blue Devils starter who hasn't stepped up big at some point in the tournament. Even Matt Jones poured in 16 points in an Elite Eight triumph over Gonzaga.

The combination of Tyus Jones and Okafor, who came as a tandem to Duke, seems particularly primed to succeed against the Badgers. Jones is an exceptional dribble-drive, penetrating force who can drain perimeter shots, and Okafor can bother Kaminsky if he's assertive enough.

Inconsistent as Okafor may be at times, there's no greater sense of urgency he could have than a national title showcase to perhaps cement his status as the top overall pick in the 2015 NBA draft. Taking Kaminsky to task on both ends of the floor would be a great way to do that.

As fundamentally sound and smart as coach Bo Ryan's Badgers play, this Duke bunch has a bit more firepower and talent across the board—not to mention two probable, high lottery draft picks in Okafor and Winslow.

Kaminsky has been outstanding all tournament long, and although he may put up decent numbers, he will have met his match in Okafor once Monday concludes.

The ability and collective athleticism Duke has to push the pace will disrupt the Badgers' methodical half-court tactics, which will be rendered ineffective.

Prediction: Duke 73, Wisconsin 65
