WWE Superstar of the Week for April 4
WrestleMania 31 was a huge success for WWE in many ways. Not only did we see three new champions crowned at the event, but we were treated to several incredible matches.
The following night on Raw continued the excitement with a few outstanding moments and a couple of surprise appearances from NXT Superstars.
It's going to be especially hard to pick the Superstar of this Week this time because so many people put on amazing performances both during and after Sunday's pay-per-view.

Honorable Mentions
Each week there tends to be a few wrestlers who come close to deserving to be the SOTW, but there are too many to list individually this week.
Instead of the usual two or three shout outs, what will happen is the people who were in the running will be listed along with the reason they were chosen in one section.
- Daniel Bryan for winning the Intercontinental Championship and having a great match the following night against Dolph Ziggler.
- Everyone in the IC title Ladder match.
- John Cena for winning the United States Championship and having a great match with Dean Ambrose on Raw.
- The Undertaker and Bray Wyatt for exceeding everyone's expectations on Sunday.
- Neville for having a great debut on Raw.
- AJ Lee for choosing to walk away from a company that still seemed willing to push her despite issues between her husband and management.
- Roman Reigns for being part of one of the most brutal matches of the night at WrestleMania.
- Sheamus for making a big impact with his return and having a great match with Bryan on SmackDown.
- Randy Orton for his bout with Seth Rollins at WrestleMania and delivering one of the greatest RKOs of all time.
- Brock Lesnar for founding suplex city and his brutal attack on Raw.
- Sting, Triple H, DX and the NWO for creating a true WrestleMania moment.
So, as you can see, there were too many incredible performances this past week to simply list a few, but only one person can be the Superstar of the Week.
Superstar of the Week for April 4: Seth Rollins
After several months of waiting, Seth Rollins finally picked his spot, cashed in the Money in the Bank contract and won the WWE World Heavyweight Championship.
He had already put on a spectacular match against Orton earlier in the evening, but that wasn't enough for him. He had to end the show by stealing Reigns' thunder and stealing the title from Lesnar.
Rollins is the first person from The Shield to win the biggest prize in wrestling. It seemed inevitable that he would win the belt at some point, but few expected him to do it while Reigns and Lesnar's match was still in progress.
The following night on Raw, he established himself as the kind of heel champion you love to hate by backing down from Lesnar's challenge, which only enraged the former champion even more.
A few days later, he opened SmackDown with a great promo. Rollins really is the complete package, and he demonstrated every necessary skill to be a great champion throughout the entire week.
It's hard to say how long Rollins will hold onto the WWE WHC, but it will definitely be a fun ride while it lasts.
WrestleMania exceeded many people's expectations by being a show filled with great matches and memorable moments. It's just too bad we have to wait a year for another spectacle like that.
What do you think? Was Rollins the Superstar of the Week? Who else should have gotten the honor if not him? Share your thoughts in the comments sections below.
