Phillies, Eric Bruntlett and OH NO Myers VS Vick!

As a woman blogging sports I have been taking a hit about Michael Vick onone of my Eagles sites.  Now, how does this refer to the Phillies and their bombastic win yesterday ?  I wrote that the Phillies have more class than the Eagles on Linked In Eagles fan site and the bashing has begun. BTW, props to Eric Bruntlett!

We indeed seem to be looking for every excuse to make Vick viable.  For intelligent men to go after me, using Brett Myers as the poster boy for bad behavior, being the reason Eagles need to assist VIck.  Phillies, Eagles? Give me a break. For every idiot who does not get that Vick is dealing with a behavior disorder, sure you find the good excuse and point the finger.  But, does anyone understand that bad behavior has indeed become the norm in professional sports so when Vick sticks a dog's head under water to drown it - well that is just peachy.  As for the dog fighting, as bad as that it, had the dogs been euthanized properly we might not have been having this discussion. 

For Eagles fans to look for bad behavior in other teams so they can cheer for Vick is just bad form.   If Eagles fans are so inclined to cheer because they want the Lombardi Trophy at any cost, fine.  But time to fess up here and just say it.  However, looking to the Phillies, who actually do behave (Myers has yet to kill someone) and find the one player who hit his wife and then just got into a bar brawl is... stupid...and you can't fix stupid!

Forget Vick...BRUNTLETT HAD THE FIRST UNASSITED TRIPLE PLAY TO END A GAME SINCE 1927!  WTG - We Got High Apple Pie In The Sky Hopes.The Phillies are playing like champs and at this moment beating the Mets.  Hopefully the Eagle's fan who bashed me about Myers can get his sorry butt to a TV and watch the end of the ballgame.
