Internacional fans were getting on their player Fabricio's back, but nobody would have expected what happened next.

Fabricio simply stopped playing and responded to the supporters' jibes by swearing at them.

The heckling didn't stop, but by now, the referee was involved, sending the player off for his on-field behaviour.

And how often do you see a crowd celebrating a red card for one of its own players?

Despite the sending off, reducing Internacional to just nine men, they held on for the final 30 minutes against their 10-man opposition, Ypiranga, to win 1-0.
