Jockey Lewis Ferguson Endures a Spectacular Fall at Wincanton

Here we have jockey Lewis Ferguson racing at Wincanton.

As the video above shows, things did not go very well for him. Thankfully, as far as videos posted could report, Ferguson was fine in spite of the spectacularly dramatic dismount, flip and awkward landing. 

Volume is a must for the slow-motion edition. 

The Guardian later confirmed the early reports that the 18-year-old was, in fact, unharmed. 

Wincanton clerk Barry Johnson told the publication that he was oddly fine in the aftermath.

The worst fall I've ever seen. 

(Ferguson) is absolutely fine, unbelievably. 

He walked into the parade ring and was chatting away as if nothing had happened, calm as you like. 

It was amazing, I've never seen anything like it. It was certainly the worst fall I've ever seen and I'm just glad he's all right because I feared the worst.
