The Real Story In Cleveland: Joshua Cribbs

All right Brownies, lets put our differences aside. We can sit here and debate all day about our quarterback situation. Bottom line is whoever wins the competition will be walking on pins and needles all year. They will be looking over there shoulder as the back up will salivate over any and every mistake. But the one player who will make the DAWGS salivate is none other than Josh Cribbs.

We sit here for countless hours debating Quinn not Anderson, or Anderson not Quinn. The simple truth is Cribbs is our best chance at six points everytime he touches that pig skin. This guy is nothing short of dynamic. He is also the most under paid super star in the sport. Hell, the NFL Network named him the most dangerous return man in the game. So please tell me why Lerner does not see fit to pay him a seven figure a year salary. Almost any team in the league would do that right now. This is why our best always seem to leave Browns Town. We won't pay when we can. All I can say is we better pay him next year in a uncapped season, or we will lose the best special teams player maybe ever to play the game. And yes I said it, he is better than Steve Tasker!

For all of you who missed the game last night, Cribbs did not disappoint. He had a 95 yard return negated on a hold by Elam on what looked to be a worthless hold, cause that Lion's player would not have tackled him. But that did not discourage Cribbs. He rectified it later in the first Quarter with a 84 yard punt return. If anyone has not noticed, Cribbs took the weight room serious. He is much larger in his upper body. He stiffed arm a Lions Defender last night in the mouth, and the rest was history. All Detroit saw after that was the Dawg Pound Dash, followed by the Pound Pounce into the end zone.

So as I leave you. Remember, if you want to win.... Put Cribbs in. I know we all think they are over paid. But this guy constantly contributes without the pay he deserves. So if Josh, if your reading this, go get your money! You deserve it! GO BROWNS!
