Although the common belief is that Houston Texans star J.J. Watt can do anything, an appearance on New Girl exposed at least one serious deficiency.

He can't sing.

In a behind-the-scenes look at his guest appearance on the show, the 26-year-old Defensive Player of the Year revealed he had to do some "fake bad singing." Watt fully admits to his vocal shortcomings, but probably isn't super fazed by it. After all, he's a football player, not a singer.

Fans can catch Watt on New Girl on Tuesday at 9 p.m. ET on Fox.
