While half the league routinely turns down paid Hawaiian vacations for fear of injury, DeAndre Levy voluntarily dangles from the Red Baron's wing. Just saying.
---End of Update---
DeAndre Levy is neck-deep in another atavistic, offseason man-naissance.
As you read this very sentence, odds are good that somewhere in the mountains, the Detroit Lions linebacker is icing his hands and watching the last rays of sunset vanish over the horizon after another busy day of boxing bighorn sheep.
Considering he spent the last offseason riding horses on the beach, navigating the Amazon and saving damsels from rivers, no one would be surprised if Levy decided to spend his 2015 downtime finding and befriending Bigfoot. That being said, I can’t say I saw an aerial Evel Knievel show in the cards for the former Wisconsin Badger.
The linebacker posted two pictures to Instagram on Sunday of himself flying in a biplane high over a sandy coastline—or, more accurately, DeAndre Levy was in a harness outside the plane, because DeAndre Levy is a crazy person.
“I win…at life…forever,” Levy captioned one picture.
I don’t think we can argue that statement. I think Levy began winning at life the moment he grew a monster beard and charged a painted pony down the beach.
Or the time he tried to recreate 1080 Snowboarding on the side of a volcano.
Or the time he reimagined himself as a noble dragoon.
You see where this is going. DeAndre Levy is a USDA-cerftified mad man, and he will not rest until Bear Grylls comes groveling on bended knee for training in the arts of manliness.
Dan is on Twitter. He has beard envy.
