
DX, nWo, Shawn Michaels Interrupt Sting vs. Triple H at WWE WrestleMania 31
For years, wrestling fans have played fantasy booker and put the nWo and D-Generation X into the same match. At WrestleMania 31, they got their wish as the two legendary groups showed up during the grudge match between Sting and Triple H.
Sting had the Scorpion Deathlock locked in before Billy Gunn, Road Dogg and X-Pac interfered to force Sting to break the hold. That allowed Triple H to gain a brief advantage, but shortly thereafter, Scott Hall, Kevin Nash and Hulk Hogan arrived to even the odds:

That led to DX and the nWo clashing outside the ring, which immediately sent WWE fans back in time. WWE's Kyle Edwards and Bleacher Report's Alfred Konuwa captured the sentiment perfectly:

Sting gained the upper hand and once again had Triple H in the Scorpion Deathlock before Shawn Michaels came out of nowhere to connect with Sweet Chin Music:
Triple H and Sting continued to battle for the next few minutes, and the match ended when Triple H hit Sting with a sledgehammer. The two shook hands, providing a fitting close to the rivalry.
WWE certainly did a good job of cramming as many wrestlers from the 1990s into this match as possible. The only way it could've been better was if Lex Luger ran in to hit Triple H with his patented forearm and then pick him up and put him in the Torture Rack.
