Predicted Lineups

Mexico will go with a completely different lineup for the Paraguay match.
According to Coach Herrera, he will try the players that didn’t start in the Ecuador game, per MedioTiempo.com (in Spanish).
There’s bad news, though. El Tri won’t have all the players they did in the weekend. Hector Herrera and Miguel Layun left the squad earlier as they have to go back to their clubs.
Jesus Manuel Corona also returned to Europe due to an injury, while Andres Corona and Guillermo Ochoa won’t be available as they are both soon to be fathers, per FOXDeportes (in Spanish).
So now, El Tri will probably give us some surprises: Edgar Meliton Hernandez in the goal and Raul Jimenez and Eduardo Herrera in the attack, while in the central midfield we could have Jesus Duenas, who is having a fantastic season with Tigres.
Jorge Torres Nilo, Oswaldo Alanis and Julio Dominguez could also appear.
For Paraguay, we probably won’t see a lot of changes from their lineup against Costa Rica.
Justo Villar will guard the goal, while Paulo da Silva, Marco Caceres, Pablo Aguilar and Miguel Samudio will be in charge of the defense.
In the center of the pitch, we should expect to see Osmar Molinas, Victor Caceres and Richard Ortiz.
In the attack, Edgar Benitez, Lucas Barrios and Raul Bobadilla.
For Ramon Diaz, the Mexico friendly will be his second game as Paraguay coach.
Key Players
Jurgen Damm
The Pachuca midfielder made his debut with Mexico in the game against Ecuador. However, he only played nine minutes.
Damm has a lot of qualities that can help El Tri find the depth they lacked in last weekend’s match.
His speed and dribbling skills will be instrumental against Paraguay, especially since Herrera will go with a different lineup.
Edgar Benitez

The Toluca footballer is well known for his strength and accuracy.
He made his debut in Liga MX with Pachuca in 2009. In his two-year stint with Los Tuzos he scored 21 times in 85 appearances.
He returned to Paraguay to play for Cerro Porteno but eventually got back to join Mexican club Toluca.
So far, Benitez has put the ball away 23 times in 127 appearances. His powerful long-distance shot and strong aerial game set him apart as one of the biggest threats of Los Guaranies.
Odds (per Oddschecker)
