Steen Will Play vs. Wild
Friday, April 10
Jeremy Rutherford of the St. Louis Post-Dispatch reported that Steen will play Saturday vs. the Minnesota Wild.
On April 4, the St. Louis Blues provided comments from coach Ken Hitchcock, who said Steen was "very very aggressive today...we'll see in the next few days where he's at and see how he feels."
Korac reported Hitchcock would not comment on Steen's status, but said Saturday was the best day Steen has had since returning to the ice.
On March 30, Rutherford reported Steen would not play against the Vancouver Canucks.
On March 28, the Blues announced Steen had suffered a lower-body injury Saturday and would be unable to return to the game. Jeremy Rutherford of the St. Louis Post-Dispatch reported Steen had hit Blue Jackets defenseman Cody Goloubef in a knee-to-knee collision, which led to the injury.
After the game, Rutherford reported Steen appeared to be walking OK as he left the arena.
Steen is third on the team in goals (24) and first in assists (38).
