
John Terry Used to Warm Up Toilet Seats for Senior Players by Sitting on Them
We'll file this under the "severe" category of odd things young footballers are made to do for senior players.
Only one day before the club announced the captain extended his contract, John Terry gave a lengthy interview with Chelsea's official website to make some rather odd admissions about his time as a youth at the club.
Among them, and by far our favourite, senior players made him sit on a toilet seat on cold days to warm it up before they'd use it:

"I'd do anything for [the senior players]: make their tea, coffees, even silly things like sit on the toilet to make the seat warm for them in the cold winter days at the training ground. Bizarre when you think about it, but that was part of growing up.

"I used to clean [Dennis Wise's] boots. He wanted his boots perfect. I used to take really good care of them. I used to Vaseline them and stuff like that. They were about size 2 ½!
