Germany vs. Australia: Goals, Highlights from International Friendly

Marco Reus put world champions Germany ahead early in their friendly against Australia, hitting home from a Sami Khedira pass.

Khedira found the streaking Borussia Dortmund man who made no mistake in front of goal.

Reus later had a chance to double the Germans' lead but uncharacteristically missed a sitter. 

James Troisi equalised for the Aussies in the 41st minute to make things level at 1-1. 

Only moments after Reus nearly scored his second goal, Mile Jedinak hit a wonderful free-kick goal to give the Aussies a 2-1 lead.

The Australian dream couldn't be completed, though, as Lukas Podolski hit home from close range 10 minutes from time to equalise.
