Reggie Bush Can Be Every-Down RB, Says 49ers Coach Jim Tomsula
For most of his NFL career, Reggie Bush has been seen as nothing more than a utility back. Considered by many too small to take on a role as a do-everything back—he is 6'0" and 205 pounds—the former USC star might be changing that perception with his new team.
As reported by Marc Sessler of NFL.com, San Francisco 49ers coach Jim Tomsula apparently thinks Bush has the abilities to be an every-down back for the team.

Rookie WRs Who Will Outplay Their Draft Value 📈
For the past two seasons Bush has been with the Detroit Lions, sharing his time with Joique Bell. Although he did hit 1,006 yards on the ground in 2013, he was sidelined in 2014 with a string of injuries that kept him to just 297 yards and two touchdowns.
When the signing was announced, some were skeptical, including Jerry McDonald of the Oakland Tribune:
It was expected that Bush would once again share the backfield in San Francisco, this time with second-year back Carlos Hyde, but Tomsula’s comments might mean a different role lies in store.
