Nelson Undergoes Successful Hip Surgery

The 29-year-old receiver continued to establish himself as quarterback Aaron Rodgers' favorite target in 2014, and it appears the Pro Bowl pass-catcher's ascent should continue in 2015.
According to Tom Silverstein of the Milwaukee Journal Sentinel, Nelson is expected to miss no more than two months after undergoing hip surgery:
Although the Packers managed to keep wide receiver Randall Cobb, Nelson may be an even bigger key to their offensive success during the upcoming season after racking up over 1,500 yards and 13 touchdowns last year.
Provided the timetable for his return is accurate, Nelson should be healed and ready to go when intense preparation for the 2015 campaign begins.
