WWE WrestleMania 2015: Stars Who Will Have Their First Major Moment at PPV

Donald WoodMar 26, 2015

WrestleMania is the biggest stage in all of wrestling, and one aspect of the 2015 edition of WWE’s pay-per-view spectacular fans will be watching for is the wrestlers who will take advantage of the opportunity to become stars.

Talented wrestlers such as Bray Wyatt, Seth Rollins and the heel duo of Cesaro and Tyson Kidd are all looking for their breakout WrestleMania moment, and this Sunday’s 31st edition of the show would be the perfect chance.

Here are the WWE Superstars who have the opportunity to cement their spots as top stars with elite performances at WrestleMania 31.

Bray Wyatt

The star with the biggest opportunity at this year’s WrestleMania is Bray Wyatt. Few men have earned the privilege of squaring off against The Undertaker at WrestleMania, and it is unclear how many matches The Deadman has left.

On the mic, Wyatt has already proved to the WWE Universe and to the people behind the scenes calling the shots that he has what it takes to carry a feud using his ability to captivate a crowd using only his words.

Undertaker will be 50 years old when he steps into the ring against Wyatt, and the 27-year-old challenger must carry his weight and then some in this battle against a legend. There is no doubt that Undertaker will dictate the pace of this match, but Wyatt must prove the doubters wrong.

If Wyatt and Undertaker tell an interesting story in the ring, and the fans get behind the battle, this could easily be the most interesting match of the night. Win or lose, Wyatt becomes a top star Sunday against Undertaker.

Seth Rollins

As a member of The Shield, Seth Rollins took part in a couple of memorable WrestleMania moments, but 2015 will be the first year fans get to see him in singles action.

At Royal Rumble 2015, Rollins proved in his bout against John Cena and Brock Lesnar that he is one of the best all-around talents in the business. Add in the fact that Randy Orton is also a skilled in-ring technician who can tell interesting stories, and the resulting bout should be excellent.

The ultimate X-factor is the Money in the Bank briefcase, though.

Whether he earns a victory or just ends up being a victim of Orton’s desire for revenge, Rollins holds the contract that allows him to cash in for a world title shot. No one has ever cashed in at WrestleMania, and he has the potential to steal the show and walk out of WrestleMania as the world champion.

Fans have been put on notice for a cash-in attempt.

Cesaro and Tyson Kidd

The Usos were the best tag team in the division for several months, but that honor now belongs to Cesaro and Tyson Kidd. The two Superstars were not connecting with the crowd on their own, apparently, but together, they have made an instant impact.

In the ring, Kidd and Cesaro are two of the best workers in the business, and they put that on display each and every week. And in the improvements they have shown on the mic, and the tandem is working perfectly.

With Natalya also in the mix, this tag team could become a staple of the division.

The hope is that Kidd and Cesaro steal the spotlight on the WrestleMania 31 pre-show and defeat the three other tag teams to retain their titles. A victory Sunday would be a great sign that WWE is behind this interesting heel tag team.
