McCutchen Returns to Lineup

Sunday, April 12

Travis Sawchik of the Pittsburgh Tribune-Review confirmed that McCutchen would return to the lineup against Milwaukee.

McCutchen left the team's game on April 9 with the ailment and missed the team's game Saturday.

It was wise for Pittsburgh to exercise caution with the face of its franchise, because McCutchen has been extremely durable since emerging as a superstar.

It's a long season, and ensuring their superstar remains healthy for the long term is the best way to keep the Pirates competitive all season long.
