Note to Vince: You Want New Stars, Here's How

Dear Mr. McMahon,

So I’ve been reading some rumors and articles around the Internet saying that you are upset with the product that your company has been putting out recently.  Honestly I’m not that surprised, especially reading the griping from the fan base.   

At this point I believe you need something big to happen in wrestling and I don’t mean re-uniting Degeneration-X.  Something like the birth of the Attitude Era.  Something to pump us all up and get us back into the wrestling business.  Give us something fresh, something new. 

Your main problem isn’t the lack stars; it’s the way they are promoted.  When every title match involves John Cena, Triple H, Edge, Randy Orton, or Jeff Hardy it just starts to wear on us as fans. 

Not that I have anything against any of these wrestlers, it’s extremely boring watching the same thing over and over again.  What we want is new rivalries, fresh material that hasn’t been used recently.    

The only way to make a star is promote them and let them have a title run.  At the moment the WWE has only one that is within reach of the brass ring and that’s John Morrison.  Let him feud for the World Title and let him carry the belt for awhile.  And I don’t mean a short title reign that just pads the stats, but a long title run. I think he’s ready. 

The same thing goes for Jack Swagger or MVP on RAW.  Both of these guys would give RAW a fresh face in the title picture and would become the stars you are looking for. 

Also just on another note, give us fresh material.  While Legacy might have been a good idea when it was originally thought of it has the look and feel of La Familia circa 2008.  It is not very interesting when it look is a smaller version of La Familia. 

Also give us something more on the tag team front.  I remember the good old days of the Hardyz, Edge & Christian, and the Dudleys breaking boundaries and entertaining the fans.  Give me Tables, Ladders, and Chairs. 

Whoever came up with the idea of splitting the Colons should probably be fired because without them Cryme Tyme is your only face tag team and that’s just not good. 

Also use the Divas better.  Even if it means creative has to sit down and watch TNA Impact to figure it out, give me something better with the Divas.     

Vince, if you want stars you’ve got to let us decide. Tailor the programming to us, the WWE Universe and you will get your stars.
