Luis Suarez scored a brilliant goal for Barcelona to put them 2-1 up against Real Madrid in El Clasico.

The Uruguayan took down a long ball perfectly before drilling the ball past Iker Casillas.

Barcelona took the lead against Real Madrid in the 18th minute, but few people would have predicted the goalscorer.

French defender Jeremy Mathieu headed the opener with just his second goal for the club.

The provider of the assist was more predictable, with Lionel Messi getting his 15th assist of the season in La Liga.

Cristiano Ronaldo scored for Real Madrid.
