Shawne Merriman Tweets He Wants to Crash Veteran Combine, Makes Humorous Typo

Former NFL defensive star Shawne Merriman is the latest victim of autocorrect.

On Friday night, Merriman—who retired back in 2013—tweeted that he wanted to show up shirtless to Sunday's NFL Veteran Combine and then just walk out. Clearly, the three-time Pro Bowler is suggesting that he remains in terrific shape.

Unfortunately for him, he made a rather embarrassing typo in the tweet:

"Constipating" and "contemplating" are pretty interchangeable, right? Maybe not.

Merriman, aka "Lights Out," quickly realized his mistake and was able to get a laugh out of it:

It's okay, Shawne. It happens to the best of us.
