Kaman Injures Shoulder vs. Magic

Friday, March 20

Trail Blazers PR reported Friday that Kaman would not return to the game after suffering a right shoulder strain.

Kaman was averaging 8.7 points and 6.6 rebounds per game coming into the contest with the Magic. He provides some solid depth at the center position alongside Robin Lopez, but that may not be the case moving forward if this latest setback is serious.

Portland already lost Wesley Matthews for the season and can't afford any more roster attrition in the stretch run of the season in the loaded Western Conference. Losing Kaman for an extended amount of time would certainly be a blow before the playoffs.
