Pro Player Comparison for Yeldon

Bleacher Report's Matt Miller broke down Yeldon and the current NFL player most like the Alabama running back:
Yeldon is the 'Undervalued' RB of the Class
Wednesday, March 18
"RB TJ Yeldon is the 'undervalued' RB in the '15 class. Not enough buzz about his game," reported Bucky Brooks of NFL.com, citingย several scouts and directors.
"The scouts cited his vision, balance and explosiveness as 'blue-chip' qualities. They thought his 'pitter-pat' in the hole was outstanding," Brooks added before noting, "Multiple evaluators compared his playing style to Pro Bowl RB Le'Veon Bell. Not the same physically, but skills and traits are similar."
Despite recovering from knee surgery, Todd Gurleyย appears to be the top running back of this class. However, Rotoworld's Josh Norris reported, "There's a tiny bit of buzz that [Yeldon] might be the 2nd RB off the board after Gurley."
Fewer and fewer running backs are being selected early in recent drafts. Trent Richardson was selected No. 3 overall in 2012 and will be playing for the third team of his young career after signing with the Raiders, according to the team's official site.
That same year, Doug Martin was selected No. 31 overall and David Wilson was selected No. 32. Martin has been a disappointment the past two seasons, while an injury forced Wilson out of the league. Even if Yeldon appears to rival Gurley and Melvin Gordon, it remains to be seen if any of those players has a chance to be selected before the end of the first round.
On March 14, Brooks mentioned Yeldon would be a great fit for the Dallas Cowboys, who recently lost DeMarco Murray to the Philadelphia Eagles. It remains to be seen if the Cowboys will eye a running back early in the draft after signing Darren McFadden to cope with the Murray loss. However, Jerry Jones' crew grabbed Murray early in the third round of the 2011 draft, so it wouldn't be a shocker to see Dallas eye a runner with Yeldon's skills.
"Spoke to highly respected scouting source who says Crimson Tide's TJ Yeldon looks a lot like Eaglesย RB DeMarco Murray," noted Yahoo Sports' Charles Robinson.
Yeldon was a standout runner for Nick Saban at Alabama. In three seasons, he accumulated 3,322 yards and 37 touchdowns on 576 carries.ย
