NFL Free Agents 2015: Latest Rumors and Predictions Heading into Week 2
Tim Tebow is back.
The guy never left per se, but just when things surrounding NFL free agency were beginning to bore, here comes Tebow in white shining armor to go head-to-head with the monster known as March Madness.
A bit dramatic, sure, but the dying embers of free agency almost a full seven days since the market's opening are a wildfire once again with a snap of the fingers.

Colts Release Kenny Moore

Projecting Every NFL Team's Starting Lineup 🔮

Rookie WRs Who Will Outplay Their Draft Value 📈
It's a good thing, too, as this is the time of year teams make those crafty moves, perhaps putting them over the top. While it doesn't apply to Tebow, it might to, say, the Houston Texans grabbing Vince Wilfork, per ESPN's Adam Schefter.
Keep up with those under-the-radar moves, folks. The latest rests below.
Justin Blalock on the Move

At 31 years old, veteran interior offensive lineman Justin Blalock still has something to offer NFL teams in need.
The name might not ring a bell in the minds of casual fans, but Blalock joined the Atlanta Falcons in the second round of the 2007 NFL draft and has spent his career with the team.
Now a free agent, it's a tad surprising the former Texas star is still on the market considering he ranked as the No. 25 guard in the NFL at Pro Football Focus after 15 starts on the left side of the line last year.
According to NFL Network's Ian Rapoport, things are beginning to pick up around Blalock:
If one had to guess, Blalock will continue to take his sweet time, play teams against one another and secure as much cash as possible while landing a starting gig.
If the Detroit Lions and Tennessee Titans are the lone teams in the running, look for the former to seal the deal. While right guard Larry Warford ranked as the No. 16 guard in the league at PFF, Rob Sims was a disaster on the left side of the line at No. 40.
Blalock is an upgrade and left Tennessee without a deal, so look for Detroit to hop back in and get something done.
Prediction: Blalock signs with Detroit.
Sterling Moore's Developing Market

The Dallas Cowboys may have a mistake on their hands.
Sterling Moore is just 25 years old, and the Cowboys decided not to slap him with a restricted free-agent tender despite his continued improvement.
Last year, perhaps Moore's best as a pro, he ranked as the No. 22 corner in the league at PFF.
With the dust clear around some of the bigger dominoes on the market (ahem, Darrelle Revis), Moore's market is beginning to explode. ESPN's Josina Anderson shares details of two planned visits:
The Pittsburgh Steelers won't allow Moore to leave town.
With Ike Taylor gone and last year's defense ranking a horrific 27th against the pass, the Steelers don't have time to toy around with a young, on-the-rise corner who has no right to be on the market in the first place considering his value and candidacy for a restricted tender.
The Steelers know how to build a roster—and a strong defense. Pittsburgh's front office will offer a fair deal, keeping Moore in town for the long haul.
Prediction: Moore signs with Pittsburgh.
Tebowmania Strikes Again
Now for what everyone has been waiting for—or scrolled right to upon opening the page.
Tebowmania.
It's poetic in a way—Philadelphia Eagles coach Chip Kelly, the guy who continues to light the free-agency world on fire with his moves, just so happens to work out the one and only Tebow.
Schefter shares details of the post-workout fallout:
Tebow hasn't been in the league since 2012, but it's hard to imagine he's been sitting around doing nothing all this time.
In fact, for whatever it's worth, Fox Sports' Bruce Feldman has it on good authority this version of the former Florida star is improved, at least from a mechanical standpoint:
Back on March 8, Ben Volin of The Boston Globe also spoke with quarterback coach Tom House, who spoke in strong terms about Tebow's development:
"He went from being a little inaccurate and didn’t throw a whole lot of spirals, to throwing very accurate and real good at spinning the ball."
For now, it doesn't sound as if Philadelphia will offer a contract, even if Tebow's ability to move the chains with his feet is something Kelly would enjoy out of his quarterback. It's not a need by any means, but bonus points if his starter can.
What's more unpredictable is if other teams show an interest at this point. If reports from the private workout match House's sentiments, other teams may keep Tebow in mind down the road as a backup option.
Which is where things stand right now—Tebow's a long way from joining an NFL roster. Just pop open Google or Twitter at this second to see why. Until teams see how the draft shakes out, Tebow will continue to wait to hear his phone ring.
Prediction: Tebow remains a free agent until training camps begin in the summer.
