The Tennessee Titans have continued their offseason spending spree, reportedly agreeing to a deal with Cox.

also reported that the deal will be for $15 million over three years:
Rapoport also added that Cox had four offers on the table but his visit to Nashville felt like home and sealed the deal.
Cox gives the Titans additional depth in the secondary, a necessity when you play in a division with Andrew Luck.
However, it's questionable just how much Cox upgrades Tennessee's defense. He did have a career-high 18 passes defended and five interceptions with San Francisco last year.
A lot of Cox's success in 2014, per Jeff of Pro Football Focus, came early in the year:
As long as Cox isn't asked to lead a secondary, which he often had to with the last season due to injuries, he can be a valuable role player.
The Titans are certainly trying to get better this offseason, though they didn't play in the expensive part of the free-agent pool. Finding bargains is the best way to succeed, which could make Cox a strong, underrated addition.
