10 Matches That I Would Love to See, But Won't

I got some time here and I'm thinking of all the matches I've seen that I can remember. And there are ten that I have never seen and I'm pretty sure I never will. So lets get started.

10. Sting vs. The Ultimate Warrior

These former tag team partners have never fought. Now back in the day I was a huge fan of both of these guys. Both of these guys were big and they wore these bright colors all the time.

There would not be much technical wrestling going on in this match. You would mostly see power moves after power moves and then slow it down with a bear hug or sleeper.

If I was promoting this match I would have Sting win after a Scorpion Death Drop.

9. Steve Austin vs. Hulk Hogan

Growing up, who wasn't a Hulkamaniac? But in my teens there was no one better than Stone Cold Steve Austin. Now Hogan was never that good of a wrestler but in the ring he could tell a good story.

The story that would be told in this match would be legendary.  This match could be the No. 1 on my list but there are far better ones.

If I was promoting this one, it would be Steve Austin winning with the stunner.

8.  Eddie Guerrero vs. David Von Erich

The biggest shining stars of the two legendary Texas wrestling families would collide in this one to see who is the dominant family of the Texas wrestling scene.

What a great match this would be: Eddie's speed and agility against David's power and finesse.

If I was promoting this one, it would end in either a time limit draw or a no contest.

7. Sting vs. Shawn Michaels

These two were the franchises in their respective promotions at one time, with Sting even having that nickname.

This would be much like the Guerrero/Von Erich match with the power vs. the speed. But in big time matches, only one really brings it every time.

If I was promoting, Shawn Michaels wins in this one with Sweet Chin Music.

6. John Morrison vs. Rick Rude

The Ravishing One against the Shaman of Sexy. Morrison has a little ways to go before he is in Rick Rude's league, but give him that time.

This would be a great match. They are the same size and the same ability in the ring. Morrison has more of a aerial attack, but these guy are as evenly matched as they come.

If i was promoting this one, Rude wins with the Rude Awakening.

5. CM Punk vs. Bret Hart

Some might say Hart is like he says: the best there is the best there was and...the best there ever will be? Hart was good but in recent years CM Punk has proven he has the ability to be in the same league with the best.

Both being good submission wrestlers, this would be a great technical match. I'd see this one ending like the Joe vs. Punk matches in ROH.

If I was promoting, Hart wins with the Sharpshooter.

4. Randy Savage vs. CM Punk

What a fast paced match this one would be. People often forget how great Randy Savage was in the ring.

I see this one being much like the Savage vs. Steamboat match at Wrestlemania III, which is one of the greatest matches of all time. But in the end Savage's overconfidence will get him in the end.

If I was promoting, CM Punk wins with the Go To Sleep.

3. Edge vs The Great Muta

Wow! How awesome would this match be? I have always thought of Edge as the American/ Canadian version of Muta.

Wrestling style and all the championships they have won. In a even match, this would go down as one of the greats of all time.

If I was promoting, Edge wins a highlight reel match with the Spear.

2. Triple H vs. Harley Race

What a long and brutal match. You just know both of these guys are gonna bleed in this one. This match would go over one hour long in a legendary match. This has a Flair/ Race feeling of match from the early 80's.

In the end, I have Race winning with the Piledriver.

1. AJ Styles vs. Shawn Michaels

Since I never see Styles leaving TNA nor Michaels leaving the WWE, this truly is a dream match. Even with Shawn being older, I still think these two are evenly matched. This could be the greatest match of either wrestler's career.

It would be a highlight filled match with both men hitting their signature moves and with many close falls.

In the end, Shawn wins with the third Sweet Chin Music.

Well that's my top 10 matches I'd love to see but never will.
