Real Madrid vs. Schalke: Goals, Highlights from Champions League Clash

Christian Fuchs gave Schalke a short lead and a short moment of hope during their Champions League clash at the Bernabeu with a 20th-minute goal. 

Fuchs jumped on a dummied ball that went through the area and beat Iker Casillas at the near post, who will be disappointed not have done better with the effort. 

It wouldn't last, though, as Cristiano Ronaldo equalised on the night and put Madrid back in front 3-1 on aggregate with a powerful headed goal.

Klaas-Jan Huntelaar put Madrid ahead 2-1 on the night, capitalising on a rebound right in front of goal. 

Again, though, it wouldn't last as Ronaldo nearly put Schalke to the sword with another headed goal.

Karim Benzema put Madrid into a commanding position with Madrid's third goal on the night.

Leroy Sane (only 19!) made things interesting with a sensational curling effort to make it 3-3 on the night (5-2 aggregate).

Huntelaar gave Schalke late hope with a golazo that put the Germans within a goal of knocking out the Champions League holders.
