The Tennessean: Titans, Douglas Agree on Deal
Tuesday, March 10
According to Jim Wyatt of The Tennessean, Douglas' deal with the Titans will be for three years:

Douglas has played with the Atlanta Falcons since being a third-round draft pick in 2008, posting one 1,000-yard season in 2013 when he started a career-high 11 games.
Even though Douglas isn't a game changer on the outside, he's been a reliable receiver and is joining a team that desperately needs playmakers.
According to Nathan Jahnke of Pro Football Focus, Douglas' catch rate last year would have been better than any of Tennessee's receivers:
The Titans seemed to have the inside track on signing Douglas before the negotiating window officially began.
Mike Mularkey, who was Atlanta's offensive coordinator from 2008-11, was promoted to assistant head coach in February. He may not have had final say on the deal, but his relationship with Douglas likely helped.
Last year, Kendall Wright led all Titans receivers with 57 receptions and 715 yards. Douglas can line up on the outside or in the slot to give whomever Tennessee's quarterback ends up being a reliable safety net and a strong resume coming from a prolific passing offense.
