Giants, Dolphins, Titans Reportedly Have Graham on Their Radar
Monday, March 9
"According to sources Brandon Graham is leaning towards Dolphins and Titans but now the Giants may make him an offer he can't refuse," Derrick Gunn CSNPhilly.com reported.
On March 8, Jordan Raanan of NJ.com reported that the Giants are looking to add a pass-rusher this offseason, and Graham is potentially on their shopping list.
Paul Kuharsky of ESPN.com reported that the Titans have also inquired about Graham.
Through his first five years in the league, Graham has made just 13 starts but has appeared in 64 games. When he's on the field, Graham has done some damage, recording 17 career sacks and 124 combined tackles.
It's impossible to say for sure how he'd do in a featured role, but those numbers are promising. Plus, he has all of the physical tools to be a balanced run and pass defender.
Pro Football Focus' Pete Damilatis is eagerly anticipating the day Graham becomes a regular starter:
Bleacher Report's Cian Fahey also argued that Graham could flourish in a new setting:
"Every potential addition comes with questions that need to be answered, but Graham's whole skill set is doused in ambiguity because of how his career has developed to this point.
It's difficult to find special talent in the NFL.
The potential reward with Graham justifies a team overpaying for a player who hasn't necessarily proved himself capable of being an every-down lineman.
"
Whether it's the Giants or another team, somebody will take a leap of faith with Graham.
He'll be one of the more interesting free-agent signings to watch when the 2015 season gets underway.
