Dean Ambrose Will Ensure IC Title Ladder Match at WrestleMania Steals the Show

Dean Ambrose is one of the most entertaining WWE Superstars on the roster, and at WrestleMania 31, he will ensure that the Intercontinental Championship Ladder match steals the show.

All of the pieces are there for a spectacular match, but Ambrose will be the linchpin for its success.

Ambrose may have only been on the WWE's main roster since late 2012, but he has been a master of in-ring psychology for years. He has proved during his run with The Shield and during his singles career thus far that he is one of the most innovative wrestlers. A ladder match is right in his wheelhouse.

In the extended feud he was involved in against Bray Wyatt, Ambrose proved that he can not only survive in the hardcore element, but that he is also one of the few true stars in the company who can pull off a weapons match within the PG-Era constraints.

Wyatt and Ambrose had several different types of hardcore matches over a short period of time, and the “Lunatic Fringe” showed his ability to incorporate new moves and spots to keep the series of battles fresh and entertaining.

Another factor that plays into Ambrose’s ability to ensure the IC title match steals the show at WrestleMania is the low expectations. While all the participants are talented in-ring technicians, the build has been terrible and fans don’t expect this match to be anything special due to the lack of storyline development.

Despite many members of the WWE Universe not caring about the outcome of this match, the star power involved is undeniable. The match will likely include Ambrose, Dolph Ziggler, Luke Harper, Bad News Barrett and even possibly Daniel Bryan, making it arguably the most impressive match on paper.

The porous storyline will only add fuel to the fire of the men just thrown into this match as well. Ambrose, Bryan and Ziggler deserve to be fighting in a marquee singles feud at WrestleMania, but for some unknown reason, each has been left out in the cold.

The pride of Ambrose and every man involved in this match will ensure that it steals the show.

If Ambrose enters WrestleMania with a chip on his shoulder after being passed by for a main event caliber program, the emotion he would be able to harness could elevate him and the competitors around him to another level. It would also help him elevate his performance at the most crucial time of the year.

Add in the fact that Ambrose could help add legitimacy to a secondary title with as much history as the Intercontinental Championship, and there should be little doubt that the "Lunatic Fringe" will be at the forefront of making sure the ladder match is regarded as the best match of the night.

Over the last year, Ambrose has emerged as one of the best all-around Superstars on the roster. At WrestleMania, he will prove once again why he is so beloved by many wrestling fans.
