Marc TorrenceMar 2, 2015

TUSCALOOSA, Ala. — The offers continue to roll in out of Tuscaloosa.

Alabama hosted a Junior DayĀ this weekend, and several top players from both the 2016 and 2017 classes came away with offers.

Check out the latest below.

Ervin Barrett, 2016 4-star dual-threat quarterback from Orlando, Florida

Alabama is continuing its search for the next Blake Sims, going after another dual-threat quarterback in the 2016 class.

Barrett becomes the ninth quarterback Alabama has offered for this class, including the fourth dual threat.

247Sports noted Barrett's versatility at the Orlando Nike Football Opening Regional, saying he "is well known for his athleticism, but he showed off a good arm on Sunday among the other Elite 11 Regional competitors."

Barrett is in high demand, holding offers from top schools like Auburn and Notre Dame. The Tigers seem to be a favorite, with his crystal ball showing 86 percent. Bleacher Report's Tyler Donohue wrote that Auburn would be his best fit, with his athleticism working into the hands of Gus Malzahn.

Still, last season,Ā Lane Kiffin and Alabama showed they can make a mobile quarterback thrive, and they'll try to prove that to Barrett.

Tucker McCann, 2016 kicker from O'Fallon, Illinois

Kicking has been a point of contention at Alabama in the last few years, with field goals playing major roles, and not in a good way, in several big Crimson Tide games lately.

Saban is trying to remedy that by going after the best there is.

McCann isn't currently rated by 247Sports or any of the other recruiting services, but KohlsKicking.com ranks McCann as a 5-star kicker and gives him four-and-a-half stars in punting. Per KohlsKicking.com, he hit a 60-yard field goal in a game this season.

Alabama has had recent success with punter/kicker hybrids. JK Scott did both in high school and was a finalist for the Ray Guy Award in his true freshman season in Tuscaloosa. McCann could go the other way, forgo punting and only focus on kicking.

You can see some of his highlights here.

Austin Troxell, 2017 offensive tackle from Madison, Alabama

Alabama is getting a head start on its search for a bookend tackle by staying in its home state.

As just a sophomore in high school, 247Sports still hasn't ratedĀ Troxell, but at 6'7", 275 pounds, he has the frame to grow into an elite prospect. He also plays center on his high school basketball team, asĀ 2016 running back and Madison teammate Malik Miller discussed withĀ AL.com's John Talty:

"

He's a man. He's grown.Ā I've been with Troxell since we were kids. We played basketball together on the same level. I've watched him grow up; I've watched him go from a boy to a man.

"

His recruitment is already shaping up to be a big in-state battle for his services. Per Talty, Auburn was the first school to offer him back in October, and though he grew up an Alabama fan, he’s open to the idea of going across the state.

"I didn't really like the idea at first of going down there, but I really like the atmosphere," he said, per Talty. "They treated me really nice down there. Kerryon said a lot of nice things about Auburn."

Other offers from the week:

Briston Guidry, 2016 4-star defensive tackle from Metairie, Louisiana

Scott Lashley, 2016 4-star offensive tackle from West Point, Mississippi

Miles Sanders, 2016 4-star running back from Pittsburgh (Penn State commit)

Gabe Angel, 2016 3-star tight end from Cookeville, Tennessee (Ole Miss commit)

Javious Bardney, 2016 3-star guard from Jackson, Mississippi

Brodarious Hamm, 2016 3-star offensive tackle from Griffin, Georgia

Josh Kaindoh, 2016 defensive end from Essex, Maryland

Tate Leavitt, 2016 offensive tackle from Thornville, Ohio

William Poole III, 2017 cornerback from Atlanta
