After beating the Cleveland Cavaliers 105-103 in a thrilling overtime game Sunday, the Houston Rockets made an even bolder statement with their postgame tweet.
James Harden and LeBron James went back and forth in a classic. James posted 37 points to Harden's 33, but he missed some crucial free throws down the stretch and finished the game 3-of-11 from the line.
Things even got heated between the two stars during the game, as Harden was assessed a flagrant foul for kicking James in the groin.
It turns out this new rivalry wasn't over after the game, as the Rockets tweeted that Harden had unseated LeBron for the title of "King James."
Has the NBA's scoring leader usurped the four-time MVP and two-time NBA champion's throne? Perhaps not, but it makes for great debate.
