Liverpool Fans Give Their Support to Dejan Lovren on Twitter After Penalty Miss
Dejan Lovren's penalty miss might have been a cause for fans to turn on him but plenty of Liverpool supporters rallied around the defender on social media with encouragement and support.
The missed spot-kick condemned Liverpool to a Europa League exit after a tough tie against Besiktas.
And Lovren would have been an easy target after failing to convince since his summer move from Southampton.
But some fans did their best to invoke the You'll Never Walk Alone spirit:
"@IndigoLFC @JamesPearceEcho Dejan Lovren stood up to be counted For all the abuse he has taken this season he has never once hid YNWA

Perhaps this will be a watershed moment for Lovren, who still has plenty to prove at Anfield.
