With so much on the line leading up to the draft, it's no surprise that prospects take their pro days very seriously. UCLA quarterback Brett Hundley certainly is, per Ed Werder of ESPN:

Generally speaking pro days give prospects the chance to show off in front of scouts in a comfortable, controlled environment. It's generally when athletes who either didn't participate in the NFL Scouting Combine or those who performed poorly at the NFL event have the chance to show off their athleticism and skills.

That was put to the test last year, however, when Teddy Bridgewater threw surprisingly poorly at his pro day and ultimately dropped to the 32nd pick in the first round, when he was selected by the Minnesota Vikings. Before his pro day, he was often projected as high as the top overall pick in mock drafts.

More often than not, however, a prospect's pro day bolsters his stock rather than diminishes it. One would guess Bridgewater will be used as a cautionary tale for this year's prospects as they begin preparing for their last major scouting showcase before the draft.
