Chris Jericho Will Appear in 'Sharknado 3' on Syfy Network

The Sharknado series will continue with its third installment this summer, and all indications point to former wrestler/rocker Chris Jericho drop-kicking a Tiger shark before the credits roll.

The Orlando Sentinel’s Hal Boedeker (h/t Black Sports Online’s Candido Hernandez) reports that Jericho recently shot a scene for Sharknado 3 in Orlando with franchise star Tara Reid. 

Boedeker reports that Jericho will play a ride attendant at Universal Studios, which is slated for demolition by falling sharks in the film. Jericho posted pictures of himself and costars Reid and Ryan Newman on the set. He is wearing an extremely Floridian shirt and is very excited for the shark-infused natural disasters.

Sharknado 3 is slated to debut on Syfy in July. If a shark isn’t suplexed or lion-tamed by Jericho, I don’t know what I’ll do with myself.
