Brett Favre Considering Having a Turkey Sandwich for Dinner [Humor]

According to multiple sources close to Brett Favre and family, it is believed that the former NFL QB is considering having a turkey sandwich for dinner. 

While it is not yet known what kind of turkey he is considering, or even what type of bread the sandwich would be on, these sources have made it clear that Favre is leaning heavily towards that particular meal.

Fox Sports’ Jay Glazer, who now lives at the Favre residence in the guest room above the garage, was the first to break the story, but the team over at Cubicle GM will do our best to keep you updated on the situation as it develops.

Of course, nothing is certain when it comes to Brett Favre and decision making. As many have seen with less important decisions, like deciding whether or not to continue playing professional football, it often takes Favre until the last possible minute to make up his mind.

“This one might come down to just a few minutes before dinner,” said a source close to Favre on the condition of anonymity. “I’d say turkey is the most likely choice, but he may decide to switch to roast beef or even a wild card like tuna salad. This is a pretty big decision, so it’s weighing heavily on his mind.”

The Favre family, meanwhile, has gone on with dinner preparations as planned while awaiting Brett’s decision. The family is getting ready for the meal under the assumption that Brett will indeed be having a turkey sandwich but is also getting a backup plan ready in case he changes his mind.

The turkey sandwich is the centerpiece of the meal, and whether or not it is in fact the main course will determine how the family prepares the side dishes.

“This isn’t the first time Brett has flip-flopped when it comes to deciding about dinner,” said a family member who often eats with Favre. “So we know to be prepared for him to change his mind.”
