Tom Brady Reportedly Wants to Pursue Acting Career When He Retires from NFL

As hard as it is to believe, New England Patriots quarterback Tom Brady can't play football forever. With that in mind, the surefire future Hall of Famer may be eyeing a move from the gridiron to the silver screen in the not-too-distant future.

According to Star magazine (h/t Boston Herald), an undisclosed source revealed the four-time Super Bowl champion has interest in becoming a movie star once his NFL career reaches its conclusion.

"At 37, Tom knows he only has a few seasons left before retirement. He's thinking ahead and believes he could become a huge movie star," the source said. "He's used to being a superstar. After winning the Super Bowl again, he's thinking about new challenges outside of football."

The 10-time Pro Bowler may already be setting himself up for a lucrative acting career. He is set for roles in both Entourage and Ted 2 this year, per John Breech of CBSSports.com.

Plenty of NFL stars have had success as actors in the past, with former Detroit Lions defensive lineman Alex Karras and former Cleveland Browns running back Jim Brown being chief among them.

Brady seemingly has all of the qualities that a great actor needs, so perhaps a movie career isn't so far-fetched. As arguably the greatest quarterback in NFL history, he should have no shortage of offers.

It feels as though Brady accomplishes whatever he puts his mind to, so don't be surprised if he is walking the red carpet with Gisele Bundchen, his model/actress/producer wife, in the near future.
