More People in Britain Want Chelsea to Win Champions League Than Arsenal, City
The Premier League likes to think of itself as the most popular league in the world, but when it comes to the Champions League, most of Europe will be cheering against them.
The Wall Street Journal, citing Forza Football, has revealed which of the remaining Champions League teams are most popular across UEFA's 45 member countries.
In Great Britain, Chelsea are the most popular team left in the competition, while in Ireland it is Arsenal.

However, that is where the cheering for English teams ends. Manchester City are not represented as the favourite team of any nation.
Instead, somewhat surprisingly, it is Juventus who is the most widely supported team across Europe.
Twenty-one countries in total will be cheering on the Old Lady in the competition with Barcelona the second most popular team with 11 nations, including Spain, picking them as their favourite team.
Real Madrid are picked by just four countries, Croatia, Hungary, Turkey and Luxembourg.
Bayern Munich are the only other side to supported by multiple nations—with Germany and Austria cheering for the Bundesliga champions.
