Kevin Durant Jokes About Orthopedic Shoe Becoming the 'KD8'

On Monday, Oklahoma City Thunder superstar Kevin Durant gave fans a glimpse of what the KD8 shoes will look like.

All right, maybe he's just joking.

The Thunder announced Sunday that Durant underwent a procedure on his right foot to reduce discomfort he had been having. As a result, the Thunder forward won't be wearing anything from his shoe line right now; instead, he will be wearing an orthopedic shoe.

With the help of the orthopedic shoe, Durant joked that he was excited for the new "[KD]8s to drop." It's good to see that he is still in high spirits despite having to sit out with an injury.
